Okay guys and gals, if you are a chocolate lover like me then you are going to like this one!  Seriously, Three Ingredient Banana Brownies!  Yummmm.

The other night I was craving something with chocolate, and if you have been following along, you will know that I have a soy allergy which means that just going into my pantry and grabbing a handful of chocolate chips is not that easy!

(yeah I know that’s what you do!)

Then I remembered seeing this recipe on pinterest from the big mans world so I pulled it up quickly and as it turned out, I happened to have all three ingredients needed or should I say a modified version, but still they turned out pretty awesome!

And added bonus, they are Healthy!

Woot Woot! How excited was I? VERY!

Here is what I used:

Ingredients:
3 medium, overripe bananas (approx. 1 cup)
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter (big mans recipe calls for smooth)
1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a small cake pan, or if you hate cleaning a mess afterward line your pan with parchment paper.

2. In a small pot on the stove, melt your peanut butter. In a large mixing bowl mash the banana’s and add the cocoa powder then add the melted peanut butter and stir it all together very well.

3. Pour the mixture into your baking pan and bake for about 20 minutes or until cooked through. Let cool completely before slicing into pieces.

*I found that putting it in the fridge after it cooled made them a little easier to slice and gave the brownies a really good texture*

They are oh so fudgy and good you will forget that they even have banana in them!
Next time I am doubling the recipe, since I almost ate this entire plate to myself that night!
