Oh the places I’ve been…
I didn’t start my travel adventures until I was 26 years old, a little bit of a late bloomer you’d say!
But better late then never!
Infact, it was the first time I had ever even been on a plane!
It was our honeymoon, and we were off to Negril, Jamaica! In my opinion one of the most beautiful places on the planet!
I would love to share photos with you but that was a time just before we had a digital camera and all our pictures are on the old fashion rolls!
I have a few famed photos and a lovely album, but none are stored like the millions of pictures on my desktop today!
I knew I had always wanted to travel to someplace hot and sunny one day. Both my husband and I had grown up near lakes and oceans and had a love for the sun and the water so we felt exactly the same when it came to traveling. When my cousin mentioned Jamaica, it just felt right!
From that day forward we were hooked, and haven’t looked back since. We made a deal to make sure to travel somewhere, anywhere, at least once a year, and more if we could afford it.
I think we’ve done pretty good a holding that deal and we are still trucking forward with more plans for the future, the bucket list just keeps growing.
Oh the Places I’ve been…
Jamaica, Hawaii (Maui, Kaui, Big Island, Honolulu) Cuba, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Mexico (Puerto Vallarta, Hautulco, Mayan Riviera) Disney Land, England, Scotland, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Vatican City, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Belguim.
I think that sums it up for now!
And those are just the biggy’s…not including the road trips and the small town adventures etc. that we like to take now and then for maybe a quick weekend trip!
Next on the list…Costa Rica! I Can’t Wait!
I plan on blogging a bit randomly on each of the places I’ve been and sharing my stories and pictures with you.
If you have any questions about any of the above-mentioned places I’ve been please feel free to comment or email me.
And check out some of my favorite suggested luggage below…I love Dakine luggage, especially the larger suitcases, they foldout on both sides giving you maximum room for more clothes! haha and for a clothing lover like me…you know how important that is! hehe
